Each year, the Disability Rights Center of Kansas (DRC) Board of Directors holds a public hearing to discuss the organization's program priorities. DRC is the officially designated Protection and Advocacy System (P&A) for Kansas. As a valued partner of our organization, disability advocate, collaborator, consumer, or member of the public, your input is important to DRC.

The public comment session will be on Friday, September 25th, 2026, at 11 am at the DRC offices (214 SW 6th Ave, Suite 100, Topeka, Kansas 66603). You may also attend via Zoom.

Below is the procedure to provide your comments. If you need reasonable accommodations for the public comment session, please let us know by Friday, September 18th, 2026, and we will provide them.

There are two ways to provide comment:

1. Take the 2027 Priorities and Objectives survey. You can find the survey here.

2. Testify and provide live comments to our Board during the open public comment session. The live public comment session will be Friday, September 25th, 2026, at 11 am at the DRC offices (214 SW 6th Ave, Suite 100, Topeka, Kansas 66603). You may also attend via Zoom.
