Outreach, Special Projects & Representative Payee Reviewer
This position will conduct in-person and virtual outreach activities throughout Kansas, independently complete special projects, and advocate for the rights of Kansans with disabilities by conducting reviews/investigations of representative payees pursuant to detailed protocols and standards established by the Social Security Administration. Transferable knowledge, skills and abilities to conduct outreach activities and investigations similar to the representative payee monitorings is strongly preferred. The successful candidate will also have the requisite experience and abilities to independently complete special projects of importance to the agency, such as technical writing, grant writing and other detail-oriented projects. Strong writing and analytical skills are a requirement.
This is a full-time, non-exempt, 40-hour-a-week position, 8 am to 5 pm (M-F). Annual salary approximately $32 to 40K, depending on experience. DRC Kansas is a non-profit, disability rights legal advocacy agency. DRC is a 501(c)(3) organization that qualifies for student loan forgiveness.
