Attorneys must be willing and able to travel throughout the state and aggressively protect the legal and civil rights of people with disabilities. Attorneys must be able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing, with or without reasonable accommodation, and must be competent in legal research. Qualifications include a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active law license to practice law in both state and federal courts.
