NEW Photo ID Requirements and how Permanent Advanced Voters Do Not have to show ID
When you go to the polls to vote you now MUST show a valid Photo ID. Click above to learn how to navigate this new law so your vote will count!
However, if you have a permanent disability or illness learn how to get signed up to be a “Permanent Advanced Voter,” which means you will NOT have to show your ID to vote. This is ONLY for people with a permanent disability or illness.
Learn also about the future requirements (which start January 1, 2013) to prove your US Citizenship (this applies only to those that register to vote AFTER Jan. 1, 2013).
